Robust and Reliable
Copeland Scroll compressors have 70% fewer moving parts than reciprocating ones, with a scroll compliance mechanism ensuring robustness and reliability under harsh conditions, including liquid slugging.
Dual Compliance
Dual compliance means sealing in both axial and radial directions between scroll involutes, preventing refrigerant leaks and allowing debris or liquid to pass without damage. Benefits include increased efficiency, better liquid and debris handling.
Scroll Wear in
Copeland scroll compressor involutes wear in, not out, avoiding performance degradation over time.
Unloaded Start
Scroll sets separate at shutdown, equalizing internal pressures. They engage after startup, easing ZB compressor starts and eliminating the need for start assist kits on single-phase compressors.
DU Bearings
